Lillie and I had pictures taken by my sister-in-law Cristy. Here are a few of the first set. They were wonderful and I am so thankful that we have Cristy to be our official photographer. She works at Holifield and does a wonderful job!

Fabulous photos - Lillie looks so pretty, and Cristy did a wonderful job!
Cristy's pictures are superb. I like numbers 4,6,7 and 8 the best. I am glad, too, that Lillie will not need surgery. In all of her pictures, taken in China and here, she shows how well she has adapted to that intriguing little left foot quirk. And her determination is very obvious. It's not hard to guess that you are in "horse country" when we read the comment about potentially improving her gait! Roberta
Wonderful indeed! How did you all keep so cool looking? The lighting and day looks perfect. I love the one with her little hand up and she is looking towards the camera with that smile.
Andrea, You all look great together! I love all the pictures, and blogs! I am so happy for you all! I miss you. Hope to talk to you soon! Take care Love, Kelly Estepp
This blog was initially created so that everyone could follow my journey to Lillie. Now it is a way to document the path Lillie and I are walking together!
Hello! My name is Andrea Nielsen and I have been teaching in Jessamine County for 24 years. The first 4 years of teaching were in Kindergarten and the last 20 have all been in Preschool! I have been lucky enough to be part of the Jessamine Early Learning Village since it opened in the Fall of 2000 and believe it is one of the best early childhood centers in Kentucky!
I have one daughter, Lillie, who attends third grade at Rosenwald Dunbar Elementary! She attended preschool and kindergarten here at JELV, so I am still trying to get used to the thought of her being at a new school!
