- Hello! My name is Andrea Nielsen and I have been teaching in Jessamine County for 24 years. The first 4 years of teaching were in Kindergarten and the last 20 have all been in Preschool! I have been lucky enough to be part of the Jessamine Early Learning Village since it opened in the Fall of 2000 and believe it is one of the best early childhood centers in Kentucky! I have one daughter, Lillie, who attends third grade at Rosenwald Dunbar Elementary! She attended preschool and kindergarten here at JELV, so I am still trying to get used to the thought of her being at a new school!

Andrea...these pictures are great!!! I wake up every morning, and check your blog first thing!! It's been great knowing what's going on everyday while you are so far away. She is beautiful, and looks SO happy. I can't wait to meet her!! Laura
This is becoming a morning habit for me as well. I have even been checking before my coffee! Lillie that says a lot! Your smile would light up a room! Heres to a great new adventure to share.

I get choked up every time I see new photos. I am so happy that two of the people we love most are having this fabulous experience.I am even rereading the Lost Daughters Of China. It makes it even more meaningful. Love to all!

Aunt Judy told me about this and Meg helped me get it up. Wonderful!! Madonna looked at it this morning. We are so happy for all of you. Seems Pat & I both will be called by same name, just different spelling. Keep thinking how much Nana would love this and be so happy for all of you. Isn't God good?? She is already loved by all. It is wonderful to read the story of Lillie and to see so many familiar places in your pictures such as the hotel (JW Marriott) the pool-- Lillie looks so happy and we rejoice with you in every moment you are with her. WE do have SKYPE, but know that you are busy talking to many people. We have been praying and also just sitting on the edge of our seats waiting to see beautiful Lillie.
Can't wait to talk to you more when you get back. Chongqing girls are definately spicy-- Our Mia has a very active and fun personality--she is the spice in our little family!
