After hours and hours of travel, some really bad movies, some really interesting people and very crowded airports we have arrived in Beijing! There are 7 families from all over and we are quickly getting to know one another! It is now 11:30 pm and we are finally in our hotel room, ready to sleep and shower for a full day tomorrow. The bellboys have brought our luggage up, we've set our room safe and we are headed to bed. The most interesting part of our hotel is that the electricity in the room will not work without the room key being inserted into a slot! A pretty ingenious way to keep electricity use to a minimum! I also noticed that in Japan and here in China there are a lot more recycling bins available.
Tomorrow we are off the the Great Wall and the Summer Palace! Only 1 and 1/2 days till Lillie!!!!!!

YEAH! So glad to hear you made it safe. The next day will be the longest day ever as you are waiting for Lillie. I can't wait to hear about the moment you finally get to hug her!! I am so excited for you. Love, Kelly

The room thing is cool! That's the way our room was when we went to Australia about, hmmm, 9 years ago! Goodness, I didn't know I could ever say I did that 9 years ago. And you're right, a great way to conserve energy. Get on the ball America! haha
If you leave the group, you could probably see your girl in about an hour. Rent a car and drive! Tempting? Just kidding. You'll be with her before you know it.
Is someone going to have the camera ready for that first Lillie hug? Can't wait to see that one.

HOORAY! I just got online to find out the current time in Beijing and was so excited to see your post and that you arrived safely. Ava and I will be thinking of you when we are up at 4 am Sunday for her to eat and you will already be with Lillie. Oh happy day!
