We made it to Guangzhou...on a scream and a prayer!
On Friday, we had a free day to play and get ready for our trip to Guangzhou. We packed up, which was a bit confusing for Lillie, then were off the the airport. Well...at the airport, my little spicy girl decided it was time to spread her wings and was off at a run...not really the best place to find your freedom! We did slow down a bit and take time to brush Lily Rose's hair. Both Lillie and Lily were thrilled...although my girl was a bit jealous! She gave me Lily's pony tail holders and wanted me to put them in her hair... The plane ride was less that great..Lillie HATED the seatbelt! We took it off in between times...but up and down were quite a screamfest! The girls were right behind one another and together raised quite a sound! Needless to day i was thrilled when we finally arrived at the White Swan around 11:00! Today was busy..full of our trip to the medical office and paperwork and shopping for our red couch picture! We have found some new shoes and a dress. Then dinner with the group...a very busy day. Tomorrow we are going to church and taking our red couch picture...I am sure it will be great! maybe another screamfest??????

How can we believe Lillie ever screams when we're looking at all of these sweet smiling pictures!! She's prettier with every picture. Today's pics look like a fashion show.
Love to you, Lillie, and cousin Pat.

Now that the first plane ride is over with, it can only get better! I, too, hate the plane, so Lillie is not alone.
You all look wonderfully content and happy, and it seems through the photos that Lillie's confidence grows each day. We can't wait for you to get home and we can meet her in person!

Poor girl, she keeps having to pack up and leave....
If only she could understand what a wonderful life she is moving to!
Keep the pictures coming, they are so great. I can't wait to see the red couch picture!
If Lillie doesn't like the seatbelt, just wait til you get home and she has to use a car seat! YIKES!
sounds to me like she wants to be footloose and fancy free =)
Love you all so much, and can't wait til you are back in Kentucky...
2 year olds do not like to be restricted!!! Never seems like such a loud noise can come from such a cute sweet little body... I think that is why God makes them so cute. Orherwise....
We'll keep the prayers coming and maybe the screams will subside. Good Luck on trip home.

We are so grateful for the pictures and narratives. It is so amazing that we all already are passionately in love! we were in Nashville yesterday for Bud's ck-ups and rest assured every Dr's office staff and all of Green Hills Mall knows Lillie is coming home. Tenn. sents best wishes! You all must be exhausted! Love , Boo and Gigi
Just now showing John all of the wonderful pictures of your family! We've enjoyed seeing/reading about your trip so much....we cannot wait to have you back in Kentucky. Please tell Ms. Lillie that she has three boys in Glasgow that are very excited about meeting her!
All our love.....John, Holly, Tipton, Sims and Depp :-)
Lillie looks so happy and content to finally have a forever mommy. Congrats! I am loving the updates and they give me hope that maybe our new daughter won't despise us. :-)

Sounds like "spicy girl" is a fitting description for our Lillie. It seems like she is overflowing with personality. That is a great trait in a family of personalities!
Keep the pictures and stories coming, we LOVE them (and of course all 3 of you!)
